WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Working under the general supervision of the EVP/Chief Legal Officer ("CLO"), this position is primarily responsible for supporting TruStone Financial's (the "Credit Union") legal function and activities. This position will assist the CLO in the implementation and maintenance of legal risk management programs and policies; provide guidance and advice to various business units on legal matters, including corporate governance, and contractual obligations; and assist in managing relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory agencies.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm at our Plymouth Corporate Office; exempt.

In addition:

* Associate's degree, preferably in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, Business, or similar, or equivalent relevant experience.
* 3 - 5 years of legal related experience in a financial institution, government agency, or law firm.
* Paralegal certifications and designations are preferred.
* Knowledge of laws and regulations governing credit union operations; experience in financial institution preferred but not required.
* Experience with probate, estate accounts, creditor's rights, levies, garnishments, or other collections matters are preferred.
* Excellent analytical and data-gathering skills.
* Well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret laws, regulations, and procedure manuals.
* Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong oral and written communication skills required.
* Must be bondable and able to perform each essential duty with a high degree of competence.
* Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
* Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks
* Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace

WHAT WE OFFER:

The salary range for this position is $73,500.00 to $91,500.00 per year. In addition, we offer:
