The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to join a busy and respected Litigation team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of contentious matters, with a particular focus on personal injury and medical negligence cases. The role is ideal for an ambitious and detail-oriented solicitor looking to build a strong foundation in litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a caseload of litigation files under supervision
* Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
* Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel, and other third parties
* Attending court hearings and case management discussions
* Conducting legal research and reviewing evidence
* Supporting senior solicitors on complex or high-value cases
* Ensuring compliance with procedural deadlines and professional standards
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified solicitor (NQ or up to 1 year PQE) in Northern Ireland
* Experience in personal injury and/or medical negligence during training or post-qualification is desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
* Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
