Job Title: Quality Technician (IQA) Salary: £28,969.63 - £30,450.48 when role objectives are reached 20% shift allowance Hours: Late Shift (multi-shift): 16:30 - 02:00 Monday to Thursday Contract : Full time & permanent Location: Desford, Leicestershire The Opportunity : As Quality Technician in Internal Quality Audit within the Quality department you will support as we seek to maintain and improve the quality of machines leaving the Desford facility. You conduct audits on parts and partially or fully built machines to a takt time following inspection standard work. What you will do: As a Quality Technician, you are accountable for, but not limited to: Conduct audits on parts, partially or fully built machines following inspectionstandard work. Record defect information in detail via electronic, manual processes or visual boards. Investigate,analyseandidentifyRoot Cause, andoperatetheNCM (Non-Confirming Material)process. Conduct Basic visual and dimensional inspection as part of investigations. Rework parts and machines asrequired. Proactively protect theQuality of machines and parts. NB. What You Can Demonstrate: Quality Operations: Communicatesacross departmentsand teams,to ensure a smooth workflow.Proactively reviewsQuality data to ensure metrics are met. Safety :Proactive in managing safety standards and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Foster psychological safety and team engagement, ensuring open communication and collaboration across diverse groups. Process Improvement: Evaluates production methods andmaintainsfocus, with team input,on promoting the continuous improvement of processes and products utilising lean, Six Sigma and drive innovation. Prioritisation: Self-motivatedand able to proactively manage multiple priorities. What You May Have: PreviousMaterial Requirements Planning System (Glovia)Experience. Advanced knowledge of reading engineering drawings. Skilled at using dimensional inspection tools.
