About you

Our business is experiencing an exciting period of growth. As a result, we are looking for a proactive Apprentice Parts Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be genuinely interested in learning to work as part of a team in order to ensure our workshops and customers are equipped with the parts they need on a daily basis.
You will receive the highest calibre of training through our John Deere accredited apprenticeship program which takes a total of 15 months to complete. During this time, you will be shadowing a dedicated and experienced mentor who will help to enhance your learning of the trade. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will attend block training at the dedicated John Deere training centre in Nottingham. You will attend college with the other apprentices across the company and all expenses including hotel, food etc. will be covered.
At the end of the course, you finish with a Level 2 in Parts Retail which is a fantastic achievement and one that will help to kick start your career as a Parts Advisor within Hunt Forest Group.

About the role:
* Assists with promoting and selling parts and/or services to meet customer needs.
* Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
* Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise display.
* Supports with verifying receipt of incoming shipments and assists with locating Machine Down and Stock Orders in their correct location.
* Follows up on shortages and accelerates issues by reporting to the Parts Manager.
* Assists with the execution of parts marketing plans and shares ideas for future campaigns.
* Provides excellent customer service both over the phone and face to face.
* Assists in the control of inventory management, invoicing and other administration tasks.
* Assists in keeping parts inventory clean, orderly and well organized as well as any other tasks as reasonably required.
Relevant Skills/Experience:
* Interested in agricultural equipment and the farming industry.
* Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
* Demonstrate an aptitude for customer relationship skills.
* Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
