We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major mining and processing project This is a career-defining opportunity to oversee a complex, large-scale, multi-phase project with significant operational impact.
The Role
* Lead the project through feasibility, planning, and implementation phases, working closely with engineers and the client team.
* Manage all aspects of mechanical and electrical processing plant setup and operations.
* Develop the programme and roadmap for the plant, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
* Coordinate a multidisciplinary team on-site, providing direction, support, and client-facing leadership.
* Oversee operations and maintenance throughout the lifecycle of the project.
* Ensure safety and compliance standards are met, including appointed person responsibilities.
Who We’re Looking For
* Senior PM with extensive experience in mining, quarrying, heavy industry, processing plants, or recycling.
* Strong mechanical and electrical background, ideally with appointed person credentials.
* Proven track record in leading large-scale projects (10+ personnel initially, scaling to 100+ resources).
* Experienced client-facing professional, able to engage with senior stakeholders (CEO, CFO, project directors).
* Ability to produce programmes, feasibility studies, and operational strategies.
* SMSTS/SSTS/Black NVQ or equivalent qualification desirable.
