Role: Programme Test Manager
The Programme Test Manager will establish, implement, and manage the testing stages across Programmes of work, including governance frameworks and quality gates to ensure entry and exit criteria are met. The manager will oversee the Client's Consulting Test Team and collaborate with key stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves evaluating testing processes, tools, and methodologies for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* Ensure testing activities comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.
* Create comprehensive test strategies aligned with project objectives.
* Monitor testing metrics and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvements.
* Oversee creation and execution of test cases, scenarios, and scripts, ensuring system functionality, performance, and reliability.
* Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with automation engineers.
* Manage the testing governance framework across Programmes.
* Coordinate the testing team to ensure comprehensive coverage and quality delivery.
* Work with stakeholders to communicate testing progress, issues, and results.
* Manage the defect process across Programmes.
* Plan and organize testing activities, including objectives, risks, resources, schedule, and scope.
* Provide training and mentorship to the testing team to enhance capabilities.
Experience Required:
* Strong project management skills to oversee testing within a Programme, including resource management, issue tracking, risk management, and scheduling.
* Understanding of testing methodologies such as integration, unit, system, acceptance, and regression testing, with experience in automation tools.
* Excellent communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and leadership.
* Leadership skills to motivate and organize test teams.
* Attention to detail for thorough test coverage and defect reporting.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
* Customer-focused mindset to deliver high-quality products that meet or exceed expectations.
Salary: £50,000 – £68,000 per annum, depending on experience.
