The Hull University Teaching Hospitals (HUTH) NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Education & Development Advisor within Learning and Development. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday–Friday, on a 1‑year fixed‑term contract.
Responsibilities
* Deliver face‑to‑face and online training to the workforce within the NHS Humber Health Partnership Group.
* Work with the team to deliver the Oliver McGowan (Learning Disability and Autism) training packages across Hull Royal Infirmary, Castle Hill, Scunthorpe General and Grimsby – Princess of Wales.
* Support the delivery of the Oliver McGowan training packages and act as SEN subject‑specialist support within the Learning and Development Team.
* Develop, update and enhance teaching materials using simulation, virtual reality, 360‑filming and other technical support.
* Provide excellent communication to support teaching across a fast‑paced, forward‑thinking department.
* Collaborate with teams across both HUTH and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust to ensure learning meets the evolving needs of the organisation and national guidance.
Qualifications
* Relevant teaching and SEN (Special Educational Needs) experience and qualifications.
* Proven track record as an educator with strong communication skills.
* Ability to work flexibly, including some home/remote working as required.
* Prepared to support further training if required.
