The perfect PA for me would be somebody slightly older than me, who will understand that they are there to support me rather than mother me. I would like my PA to be patient, willing to learn about me and be the employee I need. I would also like my PA to be mindful and understand how things could affect me and how mental health can be different for everybody. I have tools in place that would help us learn about each other and during your probationary period, we would complete supervisions to talk about things going well and maybe not so well. There will be opportunities for training and various tasks throughout employment. I enjoy having a pamper, by getting out to get my nails, lashes and brows done. I also enjoy going for drives out, shopping and cooking, if you share the same enjoyments, we could be onto a winner! Hours: 14 hours per week This will be split on a rota basis with my other PA. Wage: £12.21 per hour mileage and expenses Duties will include: Drives out to places of interest such as the beach Support me getting to and from work on occasion Weekly shopping Going out to get my brows, lashes and nails done Supporting me to attend some medical appointments and to collect medication Light housework on occasion Helping with food preparation Baking and cooking together Taking my dog for short walks Applicants must be: A driver with access to their own vehicle Familiar with mental health Patient Reliable Maintain confidentiality Flexible Trustworthy Punctual Have excellent communication skills Able to show initiative Honest Confident around dogs Have a great sense of humour Organised Please note, due to past experiences, this role will take some getting used to for us both and I will try my best to be open and honest with you about my feelings and what is working and not working well.
