In the beautiful Calthorpe Estate in Edgbaston, our nursery is a Hygge-accredited setting full of warmth and wonder.
We are looking for passionate and ambitious Assistant Nursery Chef/Cook who will prepare nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals and be responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen.

About the job:
* Provide balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery and catering for children with specific dietary needs
* Instill Storal Values to Food and Hygiene and compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health ad Safety and within the guidelines of Ofsted
* Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
* Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation
* To be aware of COSHH and follow relevant guidelines
* To deputise for the Cook in all absences with the expectation of deputising full time when this is required
About you:
* Level 2 Food and Hygiene
* Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
* Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
* Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together

Salary: From £10.47 up to £10.62per hour based on experience and qualifications
