As the Associate Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the entity controller, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Performing month-end and year-end accounting tasks, such as reconciliations and journal entries
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of financial data
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or be working towards qualification
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar financial accounting position
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and accounting principles
-Advanced Excel skills including Macros
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues
- Familiarity with financial software and data management tools
