The role
As a Junior Consultant at BTS, you will play a key role in the delivery and development of client solutions, bringing strong analytical thinking, facilitation capability, and a growing understanding of clients’ businesses.
As you develop in the role, you will operate with increasing independence, contribute more actively to solution development, and engage more confidently with clients, while continuing to build the foundations for career progression.
What you’ll do in your role
Client delivery and value creation
1. Deliver and facilitate assigned client sessions and simulations consistently meeting BTS quality standards.
2. Prepare thoroughly for client engagements, demonstrating professionalism, attention to detail, and strong delivery discipline.
3. Engage in conversations with clients and participants to build understanding of the client’s business context, challenges, and priorities.
4. Contribute to documenting insights and outcomes from client work.
Solution development
5. Create high-quality, accurate, and client-ready deliverables across development and delivery phases.
6. Contribute ideas, content, and perspectives to solution concepts, working closely with consultants and project leaders.
7. Apply BTS best practices and methodologies while continuously improving the quality, efficiency, and scalability of outputs.
Collaboration and team contribution
8. Work effectively as part of project teams, taking ownership for assigned workstreams and deliverables.
9. Provide timely, constructive feedback to peers and support a positive, high-performing team environment.
10. Role model BTS values and ways of working in day-to-day interactions.

What we’re looking for
You might be a recent graduate or have already gained some relevant work experience. Either way, this is a starting role within strategy execution consulting.
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in analysis, with excellent communication skills and a passion for and client delivery, who is able to operate with accountability and professionalism.
You will typically bring:
17. Strong business acumen, gained either through your degree studies or in post-graduate experience gained delivering high-quality work in a consulting, professional services, or similarly fast-paced environment.
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence facilitating non-executive client sessions. You will need to be fluent in English (minimum C1) but language skills in any of our European languages is a plus (French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian).
19. The ability to translate ideas into clear, structured, and high-quality deliverables.
20. Curiosity about how businesses work and an interest in strategy execution, change, and leadership.
21. Comfort working with digital tools and a willingness to explore new technologies and ways of working.
22. A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to support others through feedback and teamwork.
23. Consistent demonstration of BTS values and professional behaviours.
