Ready to push the limits of what's possible? Join Sanofi as a Finance Business Partner and become a catalyst for innovation in our Rare Disease portfolio and country Medical Functions. This strategic role directly impacts our ability to bring life-changing treatments to patients with rare conditions worldwide through successful launches of breakthrough therapies, orphan drugs and specialized treatments that address the unique challenges of smaller patient populations.

As the financial architect behind our Rare Disease and Medical capabilities growth strategy, you'll navigate complex financial landscapes including high-cost therapies, patient identification challenges, and specialty access dynamics while ensuring operational excellence across new product launches and lifecycle management initiatives. Your financial insights will shape critical business decisions, optimize investment strategies, and drive sustainable growth in alignment with Sanofi's mission to chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic & Financial Leadership

1. Lead financial strategy and business partnering for existing in-line Brands and upcoming Rare Disease new launches, and integration activities

2. Lead financial strategy for North Americal Specialty Care Medical functions and business partnering with SPC Therapeutic Area Medical VPs and NAM SPC Head of Medical

3. Serve as primary finance partner guiding strategic decisions to achieve Net Revenue and BOI objectives

4. Provide thought leadership and financial oversight, applying critical thinking to optimize value and manage risks

5. Align financial and business strategies by partnering with stakeholders to evaluate investment trade-offs

Business Operations & Forecasting

6. Own full P&L responsibility including revenue planning, headcount, and operating expense controlling

7. Lead annual Budget, Forecast, and Strategic Plan processes with timelines and data validation

8. Oversee daily financial operations including inventory management, cash flow, and pricing dynamics

9. Anticipate and assess financial impact of business decisions across the full P&L

Performance Management & Reporting

10. Direct month-end close processes including sales analysis, GTN deductions, expense assessment, journal entries, balance sheet review

11. Deliver timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and business performance commentary

12. Drive monthly sales trend analysis with Commercial, Forecasting, and Data Analytics teams

13. Conduct in-depth Gross-to-Net analysis including balance sheet provisions and risk assessment

14. Define, monitor, and report key KPIs and launch readiness metrics

Integration & Launch Excellence

15. Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate financial processes for newly acquired business

16. Support business cases, scenario planning, and launch readiness assessments

17. Ensure cross-functional alignment and proactive risk mitigation for new launches

18. Supervise and lead Opex and Revenue Controllers overseeing commercial sales and operating expense budgets

AI & Digital Finance Enablement

19. Collaborate with AI and Commercial Analytics teams to enhance forecast models

20. Integrate AI capabilities to monitor sales trends and improve forecasting accuracy

21. Support finance system enhancements and digital transformation initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance

22. Present financial analyses to Senior Leadership including US & Global teams, Head of NA SPC, and Executive Leadership

23. Support internal controls and external audit requirements

24. Promote finance best practices in partnership with One-Finance

25. Actively collaborate with Sales & Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Supply Chain, and Business Operations

27. NAM SPC Head of Medical and TA Medical VPs

28. Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Patient Support Services

29. Market Access and Business Operations (Forecasting & Analytics)

About You

Qualifications:

32. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required

33. 5+ years of progressive finance experience

34. CPA or MBA preferred

35. Pharmaceutical industry controlling experience preferred

36. Strong understanding of financial concepts including Revenue and Expense controlling

37. Proven experience in Gross-to-Net forecasting and analysis

38. Proficiency with SAP and TM1

39. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, data analysis)Demonstrated business partnering ability in complex matrix organizations

The salary range for this position is:

$161,250.00 - $232,916.66

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the .
