Health Care Support Worker – Ward 44 (Gastroenterology & Colorectal)
Ward 44 is a 30‑bed combined unit consisting of Gastroenterology and colorectal surgical specialties.
You will be part of a well‑motivated, dynamic multi‑disciplinary team that strives to deliver the highest level of care.
Responsibilities:
* Work different shift patterns over 7 days.
* Meet physical demands, including patient manual handling.
* Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commit to patient safety and confidentiality.
* Participate in any required training.
* Relevant recent acute inpatient experience is essential.
Requirements:
* Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme prior to appointment.
* Relevant recent acute inpatient experience.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, written and oral.
* Ability to work within a fast‑paced acute hospital setting.
