Role: Business Analyst

We’re working with a product innovation studio who are seeking a Business Analyst to support them with an ed-tech client project for 2-3 months.
The high-level requirements for the product are already in place, but they need someone to refine them into detailed user stories for developers. They’ll need to dig in, ask the right questions, and become the expert on how everything should work. It’s a mix of technical detail and proactive investigation – someone who can bridge between strategy, design, and dev to make sure nothing’s missed.
* Take ownership of high-level project requirements, refining and decomposing them for use by the development team and ensuring they take into account solutions already discussed, validated and agreed with the client during the Discovery phase
* Transform a matrix of validated functional requirements and organise into clear, detailed, workable requirements covering Moodle configuration and customisation, plugins, backend and UX/UI requirements
* Create, structure, and maintain JIRA epics, user stories, and tasks — ensuring traceability from business needs to technical deliverables, and helping prioritize work for sprint planning.
* Collaborate with the delivery manager to run sprint planning and refinement ceremonies and attend demos
* Provide guidance to the project team on an ongoing basis. Work closely with development and development teams to validate designs and solutions against requirements, supporting QA by confirming that completed stories meet business goals
* If they have knowledge of Moodle, that would be a strong bonus but not a requirement.
Candidates must be UK based with full right to work. This role requires two days per week on-site in central London.
