We are seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to provide individual support for a pupil, helping them access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored one-to-one support during lessons and school activities.
* Assist with learning tasks, engagement, and concentration.
* Support the pupil's social, emotional, and behavioural development.
* Encourage independence and positive learning behaviours.
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children in an educational or care setting.
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
* A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
* An understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is desirable.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
