Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cutter/unit maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. As a Cutter, you will play a crucial role in the production process by accurately cutting materials to specified dimensions, ensuring quality and efficiency in our operations.
Duties
* Operate hot melt machines and equipment to cut materials according to specifications.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for precise cutting tasks.
* Collaborate with the assembly team to ensure seamless integration of cut materials into the production line.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
* Inspect cut materials for quality assurance, identifying any defects or discrepancies.
* Assist in inventory management within the warehouse, ensuring that materials are readily available for production needs.
Requirements
* Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
* Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
* Familiarity with assembly processes and techniques is advantageous.
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
