Do you have an engineering qualification and are looking to kickstart your professional career within a varied role offering full training in Electrical Engineering? This tight‑knit, growing company provides power‑based solutions across a broad client base—including water, military and public sector— and is experiencing strong growth. In this role you will initially shadow senior team members; once trained you will undertake project‑based work both in our workshop and on site. Your responsibilities will include assisting with finishing control panel builds, testing, client liaison, commissioning work, and installation of new panels while covering sites across the UK. Some travel with staying away is required, with overtime and enhanced pay provided.
This varied role is ideal for someone holding an HNC, HND, or Engineering Degree who seeks an entry‑level position in a company undergoing exciting growth and offering the chance to continually develop your career.
The Role
* Project work split between workshop based and client visitation – full training provided
* Attend sites to install, commission, and carry out associated works on control panels
* Assist with finishing control panel builds, testing, and support junior team members
* Liaise with senior leadership and oversee projects
* Carry out some travel with staying away (overtime and enhanced pay provided)
Qualifications & Requirements
* Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or Engineering Degree)
* Motivation for training on PLCs
* Commutable to Haywards Heath
