Wayman Education is recruiting an LSA for a busy primary school in Lambeth. The LSA will deliver targeted interventions, support pupils during whole-class lessons, help implement personalised learning plans and assist with pastoral and behaviour support. This LSA post starts January 2026, with induction and handover sessions planned prior to January 2026 so the LSA can begin the spring term ready to contribute. Position details Role: LSA — Lambeth Start date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent / Part-Time or Full-Time (school dependent) Main duties Deliver one-to-one and small-group tuition to support reading, phonics and numeracy progress. Scaffold classroom tasks, model strategies and promote independence among learners. Support pupils’ social and emotional needs and apply agreed behaviour strategies consistently. Keep clear records of interventions and provide timely feedback to teachers and SENCo. Assist with lunchtime supervision, transitions and school events to support the wider Lambeth community. Person specification Prior experience supporting pupils in schools, with confidence in intervention delivery and classroom assistance as an LSA. Calm, empathetic and organised, able to work collaboratively with staff, families and external professionals in Lambeth.
