The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our team in a permanent role starting September 2024. The ideal candidate will be proficient in teaching both French and Spanish, and have a genuine enthusiasm for languages and culture. You will be responsible for teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to A-level courses for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish.
* Plan and implement innovative teaching strategies that meet curriculum standards.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices.
* Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives and activities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in French, Spanish, or a related field.
* Experience teaching French and Spanish at Key Stages 3 and 4; experience with A-levels is a plus.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
