Ovec Systems Ltd, market leader in the design and manufacture of Automated Quality Assurance Equipment is looking to appoint a full time Technical Store Person based in out manufacturing facility in Cumbernauld, G68 9HF
The role itself is busy and requires someone with excellent time management skills.
Your duties will include but not limited to;
* Receiving goods and materials from suppliers
* Working within MRP system to process stock movements etc.
* Picking components from stores to form kits for engineers.
* Maintaining a well organized store.
* Carry out periodic Stock checks
* Picking, Packing and Dispatching Orders
* Arranging courier collections
* Delivering and collecting material to and from local customers and suppliers in company van.
* Raising purchase orders to suppliers when needed
* Raising work orders to production when needed
Knowledge and Skills
* A technical / manufacturing background with knowledge of mechanical parts would be advantageous
* Methodical approach to work ensuring accuracy at all times
* Self-motivated and flexible to respond to the role requirements
* Attention to detail with Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and on own initiative
* Able to lift loads in a safe manner
* Strong work ethic with a friendly, flexible approach
* Computer literacy and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills
* Reliability and trustworthy
* Forklift License (desirable)
* Driving License (Essential)
This is a full time position where the working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-2.30pm

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
