Overview
Job title: Production Technician. Location: King\'s Lynn, Norfolk, UK. Contract: Full time, Permanent, 48 hours per week – Monday to Friday 6am – 6pm. Salary £35,000, plus a benefits package designed to support your wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Manage and execute production tasks across areas including seed pelleting, chemical application, and quality assurance.
* Operate touchscreen technology systems, ensuring precision and attention to detail in processes such as seed sampling and product sign-off.
* Work within a small team to contribute to continuous improvement and maintain high standards throughout the production cycle.
* Adapt to changing priorities and take ownership of your work area.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to seed processing, pelleting, or chemical application.
* Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills, with ability to monitor, test, and sign off on products independently.
* Comfortable with touchscreen technology and basic aptitude for navigating computer-based control panels.
* Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-skilled role with rotation across production areas.
* Excellent communication skills, able to engage with team leaders and colleagues to support continuous improvement and efficiency.
* Proactive approach to learning and development, willing to participate in Kaizen or similar improvement initiatives.
* Willingness to work on-site in a busy production facility in King\'s Lynn, with reliable transport due to limited public transit options.
* Positive, team-oriented mindset with ownership of assigned areas.
