Operations Manager / Senior Office Manager Property Industry Hertfordshire (within 45 mins of Broxbourne) Salary circa £45,000 performance bonuses (Negotiable depending on experience) A highly successful and fast-growing property business is seeking a confident, commercially minded Operations Manager to work directly alongside the Managing Director as a true strategic support. This is a newly created position due to continued growth and expansion. The business has an established presence, a modern approach, and a strong reputation within the industry, with multiple offices operating in close proximity. This role would suit an experienced Operations Manager, or a highly capable Office Manager / Senior PA from within the property sector who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is looking to step into a broader operational leadership role. The Role Acting as a key support to the Managing Director, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business across multiple offices. Responsibilities will include: Overseeing day-to-day operations across 3 offices Reviewing, improving and streamlining internal processes and systems Supporting business performance through efficiency improvements and cost-saving initiatives Assisting with HR matters including employee relations and performance monitoring Conducting final checks on payroll and commission structures prior to processing Managing compliance requirements (including AML checks and regulatory records) Maintaining records for company vehicles (MOT, tax, insurance) and business insurance policies Monitoring staff performance and supporting management with accountability measures Producing reports on operational performance, efficiencies and profitability Managing office resources including equipment, stationery and staff facilities Overseeing petty cash and general office expenditure Supporting implementation of new systems, processes and business initiatives Acting as a key point of contact between departments and senior leadership About You Previous experience within the property industry is essential (estate agency experience highly desirable) Proven background in operations, office management, or senior administrative leadership Highly organised with strong attention to detail Commercially aware with the ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements Confident, proactive and able to work closely with senior leadership A strong communicator who can build trust across all levels of the business Hands-on approach with a "no task too big or small" mindset Able to handle sensitive information with discretion Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential) Based within a commutable distance of Broxbourne (max 45 minutes) What's on Offer Salary circa £45,000 per annum depending on experience Performance-related bonuses linked to company success Additional discretionary bonuses for ideas that drive efficiency and cost savings Opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director and play a key role in business growth Long-term career opportunity within a stable and expanding company This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a growing business where your input will genuinely make an impact.
