Job Title: Chef de Partie
This stylish and elegant hotel is seeking an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join their kitchen brigade under the guidance of a highly talented Head Chef.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead a section in the kitchen, creating high-standard dishes.
2. Share your passion for cooking, train, and develop team members.
3. Plan and oversee daily operations of your section to meet service requirements.
4. Follow all health and hygiene standards.
5. Supervise and lead a team of Commis and Demi Chefs.
6. Ensure food conformance to recipes and standards through sampling and observation.
7. Assign tasks to team members and ensure proper execution.
8. Manage stock requisitions and kitchen transfers to maintain high stock rotation.
9. Maintain cleanliness and efficiency in your kitchen section.
10. Participate in food production, portioning, and controlling food costs.
11. Communicate effectively with back-of-house personnel to ensure smooth operations.
12. Conduct daily food line inspections to maintain quality.
Requirements:
* Ideally NVQ Levels 2 & 3 or equivalent.
* Experience in an AA Rosette establishment.
* Background in hotel or restaurant environments.
* Good knowledge of cooking techniques, styles, and food safety.
* Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
* Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
* Computer literacy.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
