The Company
Our client is a leading manufacturer within the fenestration industry, specialising in the manufacture and supply of high-quality uPVC and aluminium windows and doors. With a strong reputation for product quality, customer service, and continued investment, they supply an extensive range of products into the trade sector across the UK.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop and manage trade showroom accounts across the region.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing an established customer base while identifying and securing new business opportunities within the trade sector.
This is a field-based sales role focused on selling uPVC and aluminium window and door solutions into trade showrooms, installers, and trade-focused customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, increasing sales revenue, and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop existing trade showroom and installer accounts.
* Identify and win new business opportunities within the fenestration sector.
* Promote the company’s full range of uPVC and aluminium window and door products.
* Build strong long-term relationships with customers across the region.
* Conduct regular customer visits and product presentations.
* Work closely with internal sales, estimating, and operational teams to ensure excellent customer service.
* Monitor market activity, competitor movements, and industry trends.
* Deliver against agreed sales targets and KPIs.
* Support customers with product knowledge, quotations, and technical guidance where required.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting.
Requirements
* Proven experience within an Area Sales Manager or external sales role within the window and door industry.
* Strong experience selling into trade showrooms is essential.
* Good knowledge of uPVC and aluminium window and door systems.
* Experience within the fenestration or glazing industry.
* Strong business development and account management skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales territory effectively.
* Full UK driving licence.
