Keep production moving in a busy food manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineer to join a well-established business, ensuring the smooth operation of essential equipment and minimising downtime.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Servicing, maintaining, and repairing machinery such as rollers, conveyors, line machines, motors, and heat exchangers
* Attending breakdowns quickly to restore production
* Planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks
* Diagnosing faults and delivering effective repairs
* Working closely with production teams to maintain efficiency
* Ensuring all work meets strict safety, hygiene, and quality standards
What We're Looking For:
* Proven engineering experience within food manufacturing
* Mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills
* Ideally experienced in hygienic welding and/or refrigeration systems
* CAD drawing experience would be an advantage
* Strong knowledge of motors and heat exchangers
* Excellent hygiene standards and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
* Experience in attending and resolving production breakdowns
* Able to provide 3 years of referenceable work history
