Southfields Care home, rated GOOD by CQC, provides exceptional levels of support to people living with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments.
Situated in a residential suburb in Northampton, Southfields offers a wonderful living environment in which residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.

With our great accommodation, facilities and programme of activities, our care home evokes a home from home atmosphere in which our residents can feel comfortable, content and very well cared for.
Responsibilities
* Work closely alongside the management and support team, with the day‑to‑day running of the shifts.
* Prioritise and direct the workload to team members, ensuring any issues are dealt with promptly and the health, safety and welfare of customers and employees are responded to.
* Assist the management team by providing and recording information to help amend and update care plans so that changes in customers’ needs can be supported appropriately.
* Contribute as a senior member of staff to the overall management and development of service provision, planning for the future development of services to meet the needs of customers from diverse cultural communities.
* Ensure the home provides high‑quality care and support to residents, and maintain knowledge of the CQC and relevant legislation and regulations.
Working Hours & Schedule
* 35 hours per week, shifts of 7 hours.
* Morning shift: 7:45 am – 2:45 pm
* Evening shift: 2:45 pm – 9:45 pm
* Alternate weekends working required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in care leadership.
* NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (ideal).
* Ability to understand and apply the CQC guidelines and all relevant legislation and regulations.
* Experience with recording information and updating care plans.
Additional Information
Unfortunately, this role does not meet the legal requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.
We will offer 2.5 weeks induction training and a further 2‑4 weeks buddy scheme. We will settle you in; there is no pressure to “hit the ground running”.
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost.
