Description
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
* Reconcile balance sheets and maintain accurate financial records.
* Assist in preparing VAT returns and other compliance-related tasks.
* Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and insights.
* Provide support in audit preparations and liaise with external auditors.
* Analyse financial performance and highlight key trends to management.
* Assist in improving financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
* Working towards a relevant accounting qualification, ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
* Experience in financial reporting and analysis within a professional setting.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
