An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator to join a busy Orthopaedic Admin department. The successful candidate will work closely with the Patient Pathway Coordinators and admin managers, supporting administrative services. The ability to handle multiple issues and operational matters is crucial.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients' pathways of care. They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and support the Patient Pathway Coordinator (PPC) in managing the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring smooth processes throughout.
The role requires ensuring high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being accessible, customer-focused, and knowledgeable. The post holder will use Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure functions are carried out correctly within specified timescales, providing a consistent approach across the Trust.
