Job overview The Consultant Paramedic in Urgent and Emergency Care will provide professional leadership to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered through expertise, effective clinical leadership and role modelling. Aligned to the national Consultant Practitioner Capabilities Framework, the post holder will possess highly developed capabilities at consultant practice level to influence policy and the clinical agenda, inform practice through research, provide expert clinical input into educational programmes and deliver both traditional and innovative teaching for the Trust’s clinicians. The post holder will line manage the clinical audit team and will be expected to deputise for the Chief Paramedic when required.
