SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Bushey. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who have SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) and complex learning needs, helping them to engage positively with education. Role Details: Location: Bushey Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Contract: Term time only Pay: £110 - £130 per day (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with SEMH and complex needs on a 1:1 and small group basis Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management Building strong, trusting relationships with students Encouraging engagement and participation in learningRequirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly SEMH needs A calm, patient and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to applyDBS Information: If you do not currently hold a DBS on the Update Service, you must be willing to apply for one.
