Connex Education is working with a mainstream secondary school in the Middlesbrough area who are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work full time. You MUST have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role.
About the school
A Middlesbrough secondary school seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support for a pupils with additional needs. You'll work closely with the SENCO, contribute to education health care plans, and join a supportive team of specialists. The role involves working with individuals and small groups in a nurturing environment focused on helping every child thrive.
Assignment Details
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, the right candidate MUST be able to work form 8:00am – 4pm. Experience working in KS3/4 is essential for this role. You must also have experience working in a secondary setting to be considered for the position. This role will be ongoing

Person Specification
* Hold a Relevant Qualification in SEND or Teaching Assistant - desirable
* Have experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting
* Be confident working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis
* Good Knowledge of different types of Special Needs
* Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
