Key responsibilities:
7. You’ll support the day-to-day running of the kitchen that serves children and staff, including:
8. Maintaining high standards of cleaning and hygiene throughout the kitchen
9. Washing up, mopping floors, and keeping work areas safe and organised
10. Occasionally supporting the chef and assisting with food service
11. Working split day shifts (7.5 hours per day with a 1-hour unpaid break), 5 days out of 7
What we’re looking for:
This role would suit a reliable catering assistant with experience working around food service:
12. A valid Disclosure Scotland PVG check
13. Food Hygiene Certificate and Food Allergen training
14. Previous catering experience, ideally in a structured or residential environment
15. A responsible, team-focused approach and a positive attitude
