GSL Education are seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming school in Bawtry. In this role of CS, you will oversee classes across various subjects, maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting pupils’ engagement. As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Supervising classes during teacher absence and following lesson plans provided. Maintaining classroom discipline and a positive learning environment. Supporting pupils’ engagement and progress across a range of subjects. Assisting teaching staff with resources and administrative tasks where needed. Liaising with teachers, support staff, and school leadership to report on pupil behaviour and progress. To be successful in this role of Cover Supervisor, you should: Have experience working with children in a UK school setting. Demonstrate excellent organisation, communication, and classroom management skills. Be adaptable, confident, and able to work across multiple year groups. Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one. Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
