Key Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager
Our client, a highly successful financial services provider, seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role focused on expanding introducer relationships (accountancy firms, estate agents, solicitors etc) and generating new business opportunities for their team of Mortgage Brokers and Commercial Finance Brokers.
***Candidates will need to spend some of the working week from their offices in Manchester***
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and deepen relationships with key introducers, including accountants, property professionals and internal stakeholders.
* Proactively source and onboard new introducers, creating a strong and sustainable pipeline of quality referrals
* Collaborate closely with the internal broker team to align business development activity with the firm's growth targets
* Represent the brand at industry events, networking opportunities, and introducer meetings
* Provide market intelligence and feedback to management to help refine strategy and product positioning
* Track, monitor, and report on introducer performance, pipeline quality, and conversion rates
* Act as a trusted point of contact for introducers, ensuring service excellence and long-term partnership
Requirements:
* Proven track record in business development or relationship management within financial services (e.g., mortgages, commercial finance, invoice finance, asset finance)
* Strong existing network of introducers or ability to build relationships quickly.
* Solid understanding of the UK mortgage and/or commercial finance market
* Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
* Self-starter with strong organisational skills and commercial acumen
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, results-driven team
£40 – 60k Basic + Bonus + Benefits
