We are looking for a motivated professional with excellent communication skills who can work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering the Healthy Child Programme using a public health approach. This may include leading group work with children and families.
As a team player, you will work under the leadership and supervision of the Health Visitors. You will be expected to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children, supported by organisational supervision, guidelines, and policies.
We support our communities with innovations such as ChatHealth, our Text Messaging Advice Service; the Parent Portal, an interactive web-based information hub; and a partnership with Barnardo's offering community-based public health programmes. We are proud to have achieved BFI accreditation at the gold standard.
Access to a vehicle and possession of a full driving licence is essential.
Candidates should have an NNEB Diploma, Diploma in Childcare and Education (CACHE), NVQ/SNVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Education, or BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Early Years.
