Retail Sales & Operations Manager – apetito UK

We are looking for an exceptional Retail Sales and Operations Manager to lead our team in Loughborough.

Responsibilities
* Lead by example, support and enable frontline team to delight customers and deliver brilliant, good old-fashioned service.
* Develop and support the team to talk about our food passionately and knowledgeably.

* Prioritise the health and safety of your team members above all else.
* Deliver the agreed target for the Cost of Local Distribution (COLD) within the local depot, focusing on labour, vehicle, depot and local marketing costs, reviewing performance monthly with the Regional Manager and ensuring all necessary actions are executed.
* Implement all national campaign activities for new and existing customers, ensure all CRM activities are executed and implement local growth initiative to deliver targets agreed (sheltered housing, CSA training etc.).
* Engage in the local community, providing a means for further local sales growth through appropriate community organisations, local hospitals and healthcare professionals – individuals and groups.
Essential Experience, Skills, and Abilities
* Establish exceptional relationships with customers.
* Demonstrable experience of delivering sales and profitability targets, with a natural affinity for setting high standards and a relentless focus on providing the best service.
* Experience of leading a team of people, creating a culture of engagement, and developing their potential with a willingness to be ‘hands on’ in supporting day‑to‑day operation.
* Ability to interpret data to determine the key levers to ensure success.
Desirable Experience, Skills, and Abilities
* Retail, care, hospitality, or own business experience.
* Experience implementing and complying with Health & Safety processes.
* Experience managing employee consultation and implementing change initiatives.
Qualifications
* GCSE or equivalent Maths and English.
* Held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years.
