KS2 Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and educational lessons to Key Stage 2 students
* Assisting with planning and preparing resources for lessons
* Providing one-to-one support to pupils who require additional help
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Education:
Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience:
Prior experience working with primary school children
Knowledge and Skills:
* Good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience and empathy towards students
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working within a school setting, following school hours and term times. The role may require occasional extra hours for specific school events or activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
