The Role
As a Kitchen Porter at MA/NA, you will play an essential role in supporting the kitchen brigade and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency. Your work behind the scenes ensures the culinary team can perform at their best while upholding exceptional hygiene and operational standards.
This role is ideal for someone hardworking, reliable, and proud to contribute to a world-class hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Washing dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment
* Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, floors, storage rooms and waste zones
* Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required
* Ensuring health, safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
* Receiving, organising and storing deliveries correctly
* Managing waste disposal and recycling
* Supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
What We Are Looking For
* Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a kitchen environment (preferred but not essential)
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding role
* Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Reliable, punctual and team-focused
* Willingness to learn and develop within the kitchen brigade
* Passion for contributing to a high-quality new opening
