Are you a driven sales professional with experience in capital equipment, lorry loader cranes, or commercial vehicles?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a market-leading manufacturer of premium truck mounted cranes — a business known for innovation, engineering excellence, and a brand that genuinely sells itself.
We're looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to take ownership of Northern England and drive market expansion.
Role Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan across Northern England
* Manage and grow relationships with truck dealers, bodybuilders, fleet operators, and end users
* Identify and convert new business opportunities
* Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations
* Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales cycle
* Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
* Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
Role Requirements
* Proven field sales experience (capital equipment, commercial vehicles, truck bodybuilders, truck installation, or related sectors preferred)
* Candidates with an engineering background looking to progress into sales are also encouraged to apply
* Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand engineered products
* Full UK driving licence
