A reputable business who deliver mixed tenure housing across multiple sites throughout the south west, are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, to manage a large volume scheme in Dorset. Based on site you will attend the Exeter office at least once per week. A varied background in housing and contracting would be advantageous however sole experience in either will be strongly considered! As the site based Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial control of your own project, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, dealing with all elemental reconciliations and cash flow forecasts. You will manage cost control procedures, contributing to effective cash management, completing all of sub-contractor administration and identifying and managing risk of the development. You will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in housing/contracting. You will be knowledgeable in measurements and valuations, final accounts and sub-contract management and orders, coupled with competency in COINS (ideally).
