Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a Primary school based in Stoke-on-Trent from September 2025 on a part-time contract. This is a great opportunity for any recent graduates looking for further experience within a mainstream school before a PGCE, or an established Teaching Assistant seeking a new role.
About the Role:
* Start-Date: 1st September
* Ongoing/long-term, part-time role
* Opportunity to earn £90- £120 (dependent on experience)
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and children to provide targeted support in the classroom. You will assist with small group activities, help children with additional needs, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere. Additionally, you will provide 1-1 intervention with pupils who require additional learning support with core subjects: providing regular feedback to both the student and the teacher.

* A genuine interest in supporting children’s education and well-being
* Patience, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent experience is required
* Good knowledge of current behaviour management techniques
