ABOUT YOU
We are seeking someone who has experience and knowledge of the agricultural industry who can empathise and communicate with customers is crucial, alongside a farming background with exposure to Beef, Lamb and Combinable Crops.
Required skills and experience:
* Formal Qualification/Degree in Agriculture or a related field is desirable but not essential
* Relevant experience working with associated Agriculture areas (cattle/sheep/crops/organics etc) or in industry. Additionally, experience with any Red Tractor scheme would also be desirable
* Good communication, IT and organizational skills
* Strong writing and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Farm Assessor, you will be required to plan and conduct professional Red Tractor audits to enable the delivery of assessments and certification services that meet customer requirements. As a Farm Assessor, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing agricultural standards, ensuring farmers are fully compliant. This could be standards in animal welfare, farm assurance, health and safety, environmental legislation and many more.
