dhBorders Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Business & Administrative Support Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong administrative and analytical skills to support a busy office environment and contribute to the development of internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create financial and statistical reports using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
* Manage electricity accounts, review contracts, and apply financial forecasting and risk analysis
* Enter data into the accounts system including purchase orders, goods receipting, invoicing, and delivery notes
* Communicate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and customers
* Provide general administrative support across the business
* Assist in improving IT systems and business models, including configuration and testing
* Interpret instructions and implement actions in line with company procedures
* Conduct research to support strategic decision-making
* Organise and participate in meetings and project activities
* Adhere to health & safety and quality management procedures
* Ensure proper use and care of equipment and materials
* Engage in ongoing personal development and training
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (grades A-C desirable)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Logical and analytical thinking with a proactive attitude
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Own transport arrangements due to location
