Job Title: QA/QC Engineer
Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We're working with a well-established engineering business based in Stonehouse, seeking a proactive and experienced QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance across critical manufacturing projects.
This is a key role for a quality professional who understands Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), can manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and has a proven ability to lead or enhance Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop, manage, and monitor ITPs for live and upcoming projects
Drive APQP activities and contribute to continuous quality improvement across manufacturing and engineering processes
Own and improve the NCR process; support process development and CAPA initiatives
Ensure full compliance with internal and external quality standards (including ISO9001:2015)
Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues and resolutions
Lead internal audits and contribute to external audit readiness
Support the development of training and awareness programs around Quality Management
Provide quality insight during project reviews and gate-stage processes
What We're Looking For:
Graduate-level education in Engineering or a relevant discipline
Solid understanding and practical experience of APQP and ITP development
Experience managing NCR systems and root cause analysis
Working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 QMS and internal auditing
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable
Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and using inspection tools (e.g. micrometers, calipers)
