Div p b Jo Holdsworth Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a highly successful business founder to appoint a Managing Director to lead the creation and growth of a new founder-focused business platform and portfolio of ventures. /b /p p Drawing on extensive experience of building and scaling companies, the vision is to develop a commercially successful platform that brings together a range of initiatives designed to support founders and business leaders. /p p This is a rare opportunity for an experienced entrepreneur or senior business leader to join at an early stage and play a key role in shaping and scaling an ambitious new venture. /p h3 Overview /h3 p The venture will bring together a number of complementary initiatives designed to support founders while creating a profitable and scalable business. /p p While the structure will continue to evolve, the platform is expected to include areas such as: /p ul li A large-scale national event for founders, investors and business leaders /li li A high-level membership community for entrepreneurs /li li Investment opportunities to support growing businesses /li li Advisory services for companies preparing for growth or exit /li li A suite of AI and digital tools designed for founders /li /ul h3 The Role /h3 p The Managing Director will lead the development, launch and growth of the venture. /p p Working closely with the founder, you will help shape the strategy, develop the commercial model and build the operational structure required to scale the business. /p p You will also be responsible for building the team, developing key partnerships and ensuring strong commercial performance across the business. /p p The founder will remain involved in shaping the overall direction and representing the platform externally, while the Managing Director will lead day to day execution. /p h3 Key Responsibilities /h3 ul li Work closely with the founder to develop and refine the business concept /li li Develop business plans and commercial models for the different initiatives /li li Lead the launch and growth of the various parts of the venture /li li Build and lead a high performing team /li li Develop relationships across the business and investment community /li li Ensure the business operates effectively and delivers strong commercial results /li li Support the long term growth and scalability of the venture /li li Experience as a successful entrepreneur or business leader, ideally with a previous exit /li li Strong understanding of building and scaling businesses /li li Experience managing profitable companies or business units /li li Strong commercial and financial awareness /li li Excellent leadership and people management skills /li li Interest in innovation, technology and AI within business /li li Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, start up environment /li /ul h3 Package /h3 ul li Salary b £120,000 – £150,000 depending on experience /b /li li Company pension /li li Annual bonus scheme linked to business performance /li /ul /div #J-18808-Ljbffr
