The role

We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager who can combine strategic insight with hands-on delivery to proactively source niche expertise for our Head Office functions. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, innovative sourcing techniques, and the ability to activate networks to attract exceptional talent.

What you’ll do

1. Lead recruitment for an area of Head Office for specialist corporate roles, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
2. Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and HRBP’s influencing resourcing strategies and providing market intelligence.
3. Use advanced sourcing channels—professional networks, industry forums, social platforms, and direct approaches—to identify hard-to-find talent.
4. Represent the British Airways brand in the external market, ensuring every interaction reflects our values and strengthens our employer reputation.
5. Deliver excellent candidate experience at every touchpoint in the candidate journey
6. Champion inclusive hiring practices, ensuring diversity and equity are embedded throughout the recruitment process.
7. Deliver multiple campaigns simultaneously, balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience.
8. Manage third-party suppliers and optimise spend through strategic partnerships.
9. Analyse market trends and competitor insights to inform proactive sourcing strategies.
10. Leverage technology and data-driven tools to optimise sourcing, enhance candidate experience, and deliver efficient recruitment campaigns

What we’re looking for

11. A highly experienced inhouse or agency recruiter with expertise in sourcing specialist roles using diverse channels and networks.
12. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
13. Proven experience in direct sourcing and activating social media for recruitment.
14. Resilient and agile, able to manage complex campaigns under pressure
15. Digitally savvy, with experience using recruitment technology and Applicant Tracking Systems.
16. Exceptional communication skills, including clear and persuasive written communication.
17. Ability to work both autonomously and flexibly as part of a team when required
