Development Manager
We’re working with a leading property management company to find a Development Manager for a new residential development in London. With over 300 units coming online, this role is central to setting high standards from day one — from mobilisation through to ongoing operations.
Role Overview:
* Location: East Acton, London
* Package: Competitive salary depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading the mobilisation of a brand-new development, ensuring all processes, contracts, and systems are in place ahead of residents moving in.
* Managing a team of 5 (4 concierges and 1 maintenance staff) — from recruitment and training through to performance management and ongoing development.
* Taking ownership of service charge budgets, financial reporting, and KPI delivery, ensuring value for money and compliance.
* Overseeing contracts, risk management, and preventative maintenance schedules.
* Acting as the key point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
* Embedding strong health & safety practices and ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
* Driving a positive resident and client experience through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Main Skills Needed:
* Proven management experience in property, hospitality, or a service-led industry.
* Strong background in mobilisation or operational start-ups.
* Excellent people leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
* Financial acumen — comfortable with budgets, service charges, and reporting.
* Tech-savvy, with confident use of Excel and property systems.
* Professional, resilient, and customer-focused, with high standards and accountability.
