Overview
Specialty Doctor in Core Team East CMHT (Working Age Adult) based at Baghill House Health and Wellbeing Centre, Walkergate, Pontefract, WF8 1QW. Permanent, full time, 10 programmed activities per week plus on-call.
South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Specialty Doctor to join the CORE TEAM EAST CMHT (WORKING AGE ADULT).
Responsibilities
* Join the Core Team East CMHT (Working Age Adult) to provide high quality care to patients in the community mental health pathway.
* Work within an experienced multidisciplinary team to ensure all patients receive appropriate care.
* Engage with families and carers; maintain person-centred, compassionate practice.
* Contribute to service provision in a way that aligns with the Trust values and aims to improve outcomes for patients.

Qualifications and Registration
* MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
* Fully registered with the GMC and have a licence to practise (or be in the process of GMC eligibility).
* Spended a minimum of four years (full time or equivalent) in ST, specialty doctor or staff grade posts in the UK or equivalent experience.
* At least 1 year training in adult psychiatry or demonstrable achievement of the necessary equivalent experience and competencies.
Experience and Skills
* Excellent clinical skills with a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
* Ability to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty and to provide clinical leadership to a multi-professional team.
* Able to meet duties under MHA and MCA; able to liaise with a wide range of agencies.
Desirable
* Experience in clinical research or service evaluation; participation in audits leading to service improvement.
* Undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training experience; ability to plan and deliver teaching and training relevant to the post.
