Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Birmingham for our customer, a British retailer, WHSmith .
You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, with the start time window of 03:00 07:00. Although you will be contracted to work any 5 days from 7, the regular shift patterns for this contract are predominately set as: Tuesday Saturday or Sunday Thursday.

Annual salary of £ 35,057 plus a loyalty bonus of up to £440 per month (potential earnings of up to £40,337 per annum without overtime)
Overtime rate of x1.33 after 45 hours per week

What you will do on a typical day:
Deliver and collect goods to and from customer stores, including airports, hospitals and service stations (1 5 drops per shift)
Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time
Be compliant with Drivers hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
No more than 6 current penalty points
No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable
Please note, this role will require transportation and handling of alcohol and an element of manual handling
