A well-established UK manufacturer is looking for a reliable, organised, and hands-on Inventory & Supply Chain Manager to oversee the day-to-day logistics, inventory, and supplier operations. This is a small team environment, you’ll be managing two direct reports, so we're looking for someone who thrives in a practical role with responsibility.
This position would suit someone with experience insupply chain, logistics, or warehouse management, ideally from a manufacturing or engineering background, and with solid working knowledge of MRP systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee inventory levels and maintain accurate stock profiles
* Manage the MRP system to support production and fulfilment
* Evaluate and mitigate supplier risks to ensure continuity of supply
* Negotiate delivery schedules and schedules
* Proactively monitor and chase outstanding purchase orders
* Manage and compile relevant documentation (EU and global)
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations
* Confident with MRP/ERP systems and inventory control
* Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
* Demonstrated ability to manage and support a small team
* Meticulous attention to detail
